Banished to the porch!

Simeon on Behavior - Thu, October 04 2007

I am in BIG trouble now! I pooped on the chair and daddy's clothes this morning! Last week I peed on daddy when he was still in bed. Mom took a urine sample to the vet and they told her it was ok and that I'm just having behavior issues because of all the kids being here. Mom's 2 nieces and 2 nephews moved in with us at the end of June. She said they got taken away from their parents and needed a place to be together so being the nice (& CRAZY) people they are, mom & dad said they could stay here. I don't like kids, never have. Mom & the vet think I'm acting out because they stress me out. Dad's had it! So mom has to go buy me my very own litter box and tonight I will be banished to the porch during the night. Don't worry, it's safe. It's really more like a sunroom. I sure am gonna miss giving my mommy kisses to wake her up in the morning! :(

Awww...that sucks, but sometimes it happens. At least your mom and dad have a porch for you! That will keep you safe and you will still get to be part of the family.

Oh no, Simeon! I remember when you said you peed on dad because he was not saying nice things to mom. It seems like you just have it in for him now! Pooping on his clothes!! Oh goodness! I don't know what my dad would do, if I did that. I'm glad you just got banished to the porch and nothing worse than that. Maybe you'll be better when you get more used to the kids and will be able to come back inside.

I LOVE my screened in porch Simeon!! There is a swing that I love to lounge on. I gets to smell the fresh air and go inside whenever I want. I think you'll be okay. Hopefully those kids won't be at your house much longer....it isn't a permanent thing, is it? Geez, I hope not. Good luck my friend.

just a word of advice...peeing on the bed doesn't win you any points either. Neither does barfing in their bed. With them in it.

Nope. Barfing on clean sheets is not a way to win the heart of your human... but a way to confuse them is to be in the litterbox, but pee over the edge. They aren't sure how to reprimand that one! Cuz you're in the box when peeing... *I* never pulled that trick. Spokes has though. Patches has proved that cats can run AND poop at the same time. She has skills.
