Well, yesterday evening mom was talking to our neighbor over the fence. Hoover had just released the hounds and I could smell the aroma calling me. Now, I debated about indulging in front of non-family because I understand this is an aquired taste that may seem odd to some and all but, I couldn't resist. Neighbor said (knowing I was ill last week...) 'what is Kirby eating?'. Mom hesitated... should she tell her?? Finally, very casually, "Hoover's poop....". I looked up licking my lips and almost made the neighbor puke. Now, look. Don't come peering over our fence to talk and then criticize my choice in snacks. 'Nuf said.
mmmm...Kirby, that sounds so tasty. I love to stalk Burley and enjoy a nice fresh steaming pile when he is done with his "business". Of course I always get in trouble if mom catches me.
I love the fact that your mom just calmly said" eating Hoover's poop", like it was no big deal. This story makes mom chuckle everytime she thinks about it, thanks!
That is such a doggy thing to do. We never hear of felines indulging in that kind of nasty stuff. I got a bit of a giggle when I pictured your little Corgi face looking up innocently while being caught in the act. Denny Crane
Kirby, I've never indulged in canine poop eating. Must be an acquired taste. What I can't resist though is a nice warm, aromatic horse biscuit! That must be why Mom doesn't take me to her family farm much. Too many horse snacks for me!
