Rat Terrier, Rosie, needs home

Nadji on My Blog - Mon, September 17 2007

Mom here: Rosie is a rescue from the Rushville shelter that I was interested in adopting. She came by Sat. with her foster Mom and met my kids. Unfortunately my kids don't like their territory invaded by other dogs and were not very nice to her. I personally fell in love with her but I couldn't bring her into my home knowing she wasn't wanted by the others. She is a sweetheart and cute as a button. I think she is purebred. She's mostly white with some black spots and a little ticking. She's about 1 yr. old and is spayed and almost housebroke. She is used to being crated so no problem there. I am amazed that little girl ended up at the pound. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her. I still regret not taking her but it wouldn't be fair to her. She loves playing with other dogs & her foster Mom has 3 big dogs and a foster min pin that she plays with. It's only my dogs that are the problem. If you are interested please let me know.

I'm sorry it didn't work out with your kids. But she is beautiful, and I will put the word out to all my doggie rescue friends.

Thanks, Doggerel. About 3 or 4 wks ago someone was looking specifically for a Rat Terrier. Hopefully they will respond.
