I'm giving my food away!

Zeek on Nutrition - Sun, September 16 2007

Mom's pretty p.o.'ed. A while back, she gave me some samples of two different kinds of dog food. I ate them both. She had me on Millenimum by Solid Gold, but thought last Sunday she'd get me some of the other stuff, Howlin' at the Moon. Well, she usually mixes it in more gradually, but she started with 50-50 last week. I picked out all the old stuff and left it on the floor, then ate all the new stuff. She's had me eating it with chicken stock-oatmeal, then brown rice (leftovers from PF Chang's GOOD STUFF!) and then she FINALLY got me some cottage cheese. She's been sprinkling in a little of the transitional enzymes that she got at Healthy Hounds. Now I don't really want to eat the new stuff. Mom's shorts are in a wad 'cause she bought a big bad of the stuff, and something about it not being cheap. She's gonna give me til the end of this week, and then she's going back to the old stuff if I don't come around. In the meantime, if that's the case, she'll have all this stuff that I'm picking at now left over. IF I don't eat it, Mom wants to find some shelter or rescue to donate it to, rather than throw it out. Does anyone know if anywhere in Castleton that would be a good place to take it? That is, IF I decide I'm not eating the stuff.

Mom's been giving me cottage cheese, but I pick out all the dog food and leave it on the floor. If she tries that yogurt stuff I may not be able to pick it out!

We'll be at the Petco in Fishers on Saturday doing adoptions. We can always use good food. I pretty much eat anything but mom's switching me over to Solid Gold Holistique Blendz. That's what Blitzen eats and she thinks Solid Gold would help "clean me out" since I sometimes eat pieces of my toys.
