What to eat for a bellyache

Zeek on Health - Fri, September 14 2007

I've been eating grass for almost a week now. Mom started me on some new food. I picked out all the old stuff and ate only the new. Then yesterday, I had the "backdoor trots" on our walk. Mom fixed me some oatmeal with chicken broth, and transitional enzymes to eat yesterday, but now she's thinking she should have used rice. I'm definitely more spunky today, though. I bought her one of her running shoes so she would get the hint and take me for a WALK! I'm ready to go NOW NOW NOW. Anyway, Mom's just curious about what to give me should it happen again.

We just really never have any sort of gastric upset, except the time I ate raisins and mom had to make me puke. That was awful. And the time I ate Dove Dark Chocolate and mom had to make me puke. That was awful too. But we have always heard that boiled chicken, cooked rice, cottage cheese, and yogurt are all good. Maybe we should start puking and backyard trotting so we can get that yummy food! Glad you are feeling well enough for a walk, Zeek!
