Found Dog on Eastside!

Please talk to my friends at www.poomixrescue.com. There's a forum you can post on there! Hopefully the owner will be found soon...you should also alert the humane society and animal control about it, since that's hopefully where owners will check.

Ah, yes. We will be calling shelters tomorrow to let them know about her. Also, I just got back from posting some signs in the neighborhood. Hopefully we find her owners soon!

you might want to take fliers to for the love of dogs, and to lazy daze, if you haven't already. :)

I have a small update. Signs have been posted in the neighborhood, at For the Love of Dogs, The Sleepy Hollow and Lazy Daze. I am also working on posting on some lost and found websites. She's been scanned (no chip) and checked out by the vet. She was shaved today because of some bad mats and has a few bruises. It looks like someone was not very nice to her. After a week (which is the holding time), if no one claims her, one of the assistants at my work (Irvington Pet Clinic) is keeping her. So, either way, she has a home!

I have had zero response to everything I've posted, so it's not looking hopeful for finding for owners (which may not be a bad thing).

I am so excited about Jen giving her a home if nothing else works out. I could see the love Jen had for the girl already (she was actually looking up names when I came to visit). She has the girl at home already and everything is working out fine with her other dog and cat.
