Help!! TUMORS???

Barney on Behavior - Tue, September 04 2007

Has anyone ever had a Beagle with tumors??? My mom just saw this poor baby on Petfinder (http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=9167355). She is going to see if dad will let her bring her home. She just called the shelter to get a report on Millie. Jamie said that she doesn't appear in pain, and was willing to let Jamie lift up her front legs to get pictures. Mom can't spend thousands on surgery, so it would be more supportive/pallative care if we adopt her. Any suggestions??? Is mom getting in over her head????

Jamie is willing to take her to the vet, but I would have to pay for it, so...and knowing the vets in Rush County they will say put her down....

We did have a beagle named Sparky. It was so weird because he was fine over one weekend, but on a Monday, he had 2 tumors and his eyes were 'fogged' over. It seems it just happened overnight. We took him to Purdue and it was cancer. We went ahead and had him PTS. It was so sad for us, but they didn't think there was anything that would prolong his life.
