We all got to go over to Grandpa's today and play together. Well everybody except Hootie. Chase and him don't play nice so Hootie had to stay in the back room while we were there. Grandpa has a yard with a privacy fence so we could run around without our leashes. There are so many good things to smell over there. There's even a deck we can go under and pretend like we're in a cave. We went in and out like a million times because it's fun when you don't have to wear your leash. Grandpa gave us some treats when mom wasn't looking. We played with Pebbles' and Pablo's toys and they tried some of ours. Pebbles took our red bone and tried to keep it but Grandpa made her give it back. Mom and Dad turned over the couch and exposed Pablo's stash underneath it. They never would have noticed it if Dayzee hadn't pulled the phone, table, and lamp down and unplugged everything. They moved the couch and found candy wrappers and toys all hidden behind the couch. They cleaned it all up and put his toys out in the room for everybody to play with. The two P dogs had to get their nails cut but we didn't so we just teased them about it. Pebbles didn't like Dayzee that much but luckily Dazyee was too busy hiding to care. We had a busy day and we were late getting home to eat. Then we ate and were getting ready to take another nap before bedtime when out came the clippers! Mom says that whenever Dad get his hair cut, we should get the hair underneath our paws cut at the same time. So even though we were very tired, she made us get our paws trimmed. Now we're exhausted! And Dad said we should sleep in our crates tonight. That's crazy talk. Mom didn't hardly even hold me today. Granted everybody else did but Mommy snuggles are different. We'll see about that sleeping in crate thing. I'll give them my sad eyes and I bet they'll let me in the bed. I'm really getting sleepy so I'm off to bed. Hope everybody else had a good Labor Day.
