Mom got a call today that we're approved to bring a new cat home! The original cat mom wanted was adopted the day before she could go and pick him up, she was really sad. But now we're going to get a new kitty and he or she will be a Persian, just like me! There's a very nice organization called the Purebred Cat Rescue that operates in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. They do a great job of helping sick purebreds get better and then placing them in a forever home. Since I was so sick when I came home, Mom wanted to be sure that my new kitty friend would be healthy and wouldn't pass any colds to me. Mom's also going to drive some kitties living in Indy for a few days up to the rescue so they can get vet treatment and some grooming. I can't wait for my new friend to come home!
