Well, mom has started school again. And she's an hour away from me! This means I only get to see her on weekends, or sometimes when grandma has a day off. I really miss my mommy, but not as much as she misses me!

I got to go to her school place when she moved in, and I got to play with two other doggies that were visiting also! Their mom brought them by my mom's villa (apartment). Our mommies used to be roommates for a semester! And my daddy is pledging the same fraternity that their dad is already in. So maybe I'll get to see them again.

Well, then grandma and grandpa took me home with them, and I've been a really good girl so far! I just love getting to play with Max, and sometimes Loki, when he's not being a grouch. He's probably stolen all of my balls already, and Max has probably taken some of my other toys. Also, grandma and my human uncles and everyone don't like my squeaky toys, but they are my favorite! :-( So I have to play with my bestest toy outside!

Mom is really excited to come home and see me this weekend, and I can't wait either!! She knew when she got me that she would have to leave me over the school year, but that I would be safe and happy at grandma's, but she didn't realize how hard it was going to be on her! She's really looking forward to graduating (she's a junior now), so that she can have me forever!

And even though dad has said before he doesn't like the idea of dogs sleeping in the bed, he hasn't put up much of a fight the couple times he's slept over, and mom likes having me there, so we think that might become permanent after we get our own home! :)

But I really miss my mommy! I can't wait till she comes to see me!
