Bone Thief Part 2

Yogi on My Blog - Fri, August 17 2007

Well, mama got the bones out again last night, and, of course, Teddy refused one. Of course, I didn't.

Well, I was chewing mine, and I noticed the "bone thief" lurking around me. I kept moving away from him, but he kept coming and "napping" right by me, just waiting for me to leave my bone.

This time, though, I was waaaaay smarter than the last time. When I went to get a drink of water, I took my bone with me. I kept it right under my paw so that sneaky thief didn't get any ideas. I saw him lurking there, staring at me, waiting to make his move, but I was protecting my bone this time.

Anyway, you know that saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." That's gonna be my motto where bones are concerned. I will not be outsmarted by that black and white bone thief!

my little snitch waits until I have a big mouth full then uses those little toes of hers to scrape some of my crumbs towards her to munch on. I can't help it she eats hers incredibly fast and I prefer to savor mine.

Hey Yogi , I know what you mean. mommy & daddy gives some bones to me only but my stepsisters wants me to share and takes some of them when i'm not looking. Don't they know it's all about me . What is mine is mine and what is theirs is mine. That's what mommy taught me and tells daddy all the time. Daddy just shakes his head and blames himself for spoiling her and me so much and laufs. Although we all get bones at the same time, Raven likes to wait until I start chewing on mine and then she takes it from me. That's okay though 'cause I get her new one and start all over again. I guess Rave just prefers already chewed ones.....

Woo, Hoo!! I'm an only child. The only time I have this problem is when Mama has the dog parties and gives treats to the neighbor dogs. If one of the dogs tries to steal treats, the doggie that gets his treat stolen gets extra treats. You should mention this rule to your Mama.

I just growl at Little CeeCee when she tries to lurk around my chew sticks and she runs away. Fraidy cat. She never growls at me though, even when I have my chew stick AND hers stuck under my paw so she can't have it. I should really be nicer to her, but I just can't stand anyone else having those chew sticks, but especially my peanut butter flips!! Man, those things are addicting!! Mommy gives us both one and I take mine and then I take CeeCee's too. I'm just a flip monger. Mommy calls me a mongrel when I do it though and she gives it back to CeeCee. What's a mongrel? xoxo FiFI
