I'm getting my eye surgery on September 7th. Mom is already nervous! Some good news though - mom misunderstood about having it done twice. What they do is freeze my eyelid where the hairs aren't supposed to be growing. They only do that once. When I go back, they may have to pluck some of the hairs out that have come in since, but basically after one freeze the hair follicles die so while some hairs may come out of those follicles and need to be plucked, they won't grow any new hairs. I don't think I go under anestethic for plucking, probably just a tranquilizer. There are rare cases where the hairs come in somewhere else (where they didn't freeze), but we hope that doesn't happen!
