Harness

Shadow on Shopping - Tue, August 14 2007

My Mom is looking for a harness for me because she said the ones I have are rubbing the hair off my tummy and under my legs. Someone had a link for doxies and different harnesses and she lost it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a harness that doesn't rub for us little ones?

Me too Nemo but for some reason mom hates chasing me through the neighborhood....and she has had to do that! LOL

Shadow is a puller too and that is why she has to have a harness. I have spent so much money on these things and still have not found one that really works. I got a gentle leader from the Humane Society and she knows how to get out of it!

Daphne's Mom here....I have to have a harness for Miss Daphne because she too pulls when she gets excited or on the scent of whatever. The one I have does rub a bare spot on her belly though. I may try looking up that Drs. Foster & Smith pet catalog on line and see what they have.

Hi little Shadow. I think I sent you the link before. Mom just ordered some of the "2 step Guardian Gear" harnesses from Pet Edge for the boys. She tried them on at Petsmart and they seemed to work pretty good. Dayzee and I got new pretty collars instead. You can check out the doxie harnesses at http://www.doxidelight.com/ It's a great doxie site and the harnesses seem to be great. You can also just do a search for dachshund harnesses and it will pull up several sites but I don't know anything about them. Good luck and let us know how it fits.

Pebbles thank you so much for responding. You did send the link before and that is the one my mommy could not find! She liked the harnesses there and misplaced the site. She really appreciates you sending it again!
