SOUTHSIDE ANIMAL SHELTER IN NEED!

a good friend contacted me and told me that southside animal shelter was broken in to, and the SOB's stole cleaning supplies (paper towels, bleach, and more) and also stole their TOILET PAPER!!!! this is horrible!!! if there is anything anyone can do to help out, please contact them, see what exactly they need to keep things going smoothly. i cannot fathom why some jerk would do such a thing, because they had to know that stealing THESE items, keeps them from helping the animals.(had to be some kind of PETA freak) they even stole their LAUNDRY DETERGENT!!!! {sigh} so if anyone can help, it would be great. they are a no-kill shelter, and i'm sure funds are limited. even monetary donations would be appreciated, i'm sure. please pass this along, if you can, we need to get the word out. i posted their link with their address, in case anyone wasn't sure where they are located. :)

Why doesn't someone contact the Target manager and see if you can get a product donation? They do a lot of community stuff...

There is a special place in hell for people who steal from charities! That's awful! My momma said she'll send some support after she gets paid on the 15th!

what shelter was it?...i will go shopping after talking to them & get as much as i can after i find out exactly what they need...please give me the name & phone number or website so i can contact someone!...where is it posted?...i don't see it?

This is just horrible! Mom made a donation to help. You can donate with your credit card on their website. It's very convenient!

Mom told me that we're going to buy some things to help the cause - plus, she can finally get rid of all the newspapers in the garage.

I contacted Proctor & Gamble and they have shipped cases of Tide, Gain, Bounce, Mr.Clean, and Febreeze to the shelter, which will arrive by week's end!! They will still need paper towels and bleach, but thanks so much to the folks at P&G for their compassion!
