Bone thief

Teddy on My Blog - Sun, August 12 2007

Last night, my mama brought a big ol' bag of rawhides back from Sam's Club. She offered one to Yogi and one to me. I didn't want one, so she just gave it to Yogi.

The funny thing was, I waited until Yogi had his bone chewed down to that soft, mushy part, and when he wasn't looking, I stole it from him! Hee Hee I even came out from the bedroom, at one point, to show my mama that I had it, and boy, was it ever good! Thanks, Yogi.

Nemo, he didn't know what to do with himself. Normally, he's the bully of the family, but I got really brave and took that bone away from him! Hee Hee

I do that with Annushka too. I let her work on the rawhide then zip it away from her. She is so easy. Momma says I'm rude & have no "social graces". Phooey!

Mama gave me a smaller bone to make up for it, so everything was cool.

I do the same thing from Ojo! It's so much easier to chew the soft ones :-) Go Teddy!

That's so nice of Yogi to think about your needs first and do the hard work on the rawhide! Especially since you lost a few chompers from last week's dental.

What a brave doggie you are. No wonder Daph thinks you're the best! I let KC chew the new rawhides first, then I can handle them. She doesn't mind. I guess we have a system worked out.

Way to go, Teddy! Especially with some of your teeth gone. Maddie gets so worried that I am going to steal her whatever, that she never really chomps on it. I eat mine like a normal dog, which she is not, believe me. When I am finished with mine, she's still over there trying to guard hers. Then mom comes and takes it away so we don't fight over it. She's never figured out that I get to enjoy one and she doesn't.
