We went to the vet this morning. Mama thinks I was having some sort of flashback to the nail trim of last Saturday or was concerned about a cat attack like what happened to Sister Freckles, I had all four paws locked down and wasn't budging to go into the vet. All the girls came out to see me and pet me but I was looking for the door. Mama had to partically drag me down the hall. (Freckles, I kept an eye out for the cat). I got weigh-down 1.5 lbs. Once we got into the room, I started to chill out. Then Dr. Ed came in. He's my buddy. He got down to my level (or close to it) and talked to me and rubbed my ears. Mama told him what happened last week. He said to bring me back there and they'd do my nails from now on. After that, everything went good. Dr. Ed tells me how good looking I am. Got my shots, made a new friend in the lobby. Big, Fuzzy dog named Buddy. THEN since I was so good even though I was freaking out, Mama took me to the DQ. I got ice cream and a hot dog but I had to wait till we got home to get the hot dog. On the way home, I was hanging out the window checking things out and these two Grandma looking ladies tried to get me to come get in their car while we were sitting at the light. Crazy stuff! Now, I'm getting ready for another nap. Just wanted to check in. ETB
