I feel so sorry for your mum! ♥

Well, when Ernest ate my cell phone, I was able to take another one to the Verizon store and they changed everything over. It was a Verizon phone I got from a friend who had just gotten new phones. I did lose all my phone numbers in the address book but I was able to keep my old number, etc. Good Luck. Don't feel bad, we've all done things like that.

My momma works for AT&T and she thinks the "no SIM card" may be a problem....she hopes not, but good luck! There's no other choice than to throw your old cellphone on the mercy of your cellphone company and see what they can do. I'll keep my paws crossed!

All's well that ends well. My mama was able to use her old phone, and the guy didn't even charge her for the SIM card. Whew!

Ha! That's FUNNY!!! (but I'm sorry you're mommy had to go through that....) It's funny because however boneheaded the trash compactor accident was, it's not as bad as dropping your cell phone in the toilet, which is what MY mommy did. HAHAHAHAAAAAA xoxo
