Are your ears clipped?

I had my tail docked when I was 3 days old! I'm sure it hurt, but I can't remember!! LOL.

I like floppy-eared boxers better too. They're cute either way. I just think the floppy ears are cuter.

Hoovie and I both had our tails docked. My breeder told mom and dad that my brothers and sisters and I had tails to put retrievers to shame!! Mom says she could never be a breeder...she'd never be able to do that. "If the Lord put it there, it's gonna stay there." That's how she feels about docking tails!

I also had my tail docked when I was 3 days old. I don't remember it hurting me, but I do have one complaint. I've been chasing my nub lately and I can't seem to get it. I'm sooo close, and I bet if I had all of my tail I'd catch it no problem. Maybe if I try a little harder...

My itsy bitsy tail was docked when I was only 2 days old, so I don't remember it hurting, but it might have. My mama couldn't have done that she says. I like the floppy ears on all doggies too. I have a yorkie friend that won't hold his ears up. He's really cute.

In Great Britain it is illegal to have ears or tail cropped unless there is a medical condition. I'm not certain, but I think that anybody doing conformation over there has to show their dog in its original condition. It's never made sense to me to cut off parts just so humans can think we look better.

eek, i guess i'm in the minority! i grew up with miniature schnauzers, and i would not have one WITHOUT the ears cropped. i also prefer boxers, danes, and dobes with the ears cropped. as far as the tail dock, yes, if that is part of the breed standard, then i think it should be done. APBT's, i prefer them with the natural ears, and they are NOT supposed to have the tail docked, but some idiot BYBers will do that. @@

Suggie doesn't have cropped ears or tail, and I wouldn't ever do it to a dog! I agree with Kirby's mom, "If the Lord put it there, it stays there." She has really floppy ears, and when she runs they go up and down, up and down...SO CUTE!

Momma works in a vets office and has come home very upset from being a part of the tail clip, dew claw removal procedures! She said that she would never ever do this to a dog, that the screams from the puppies brought her to tears. I like my floppy ears!

My tail is docked, but that was not my Momma's doing. It was already like that when she got me. Other than that, I am au natural....

Schipperkes are supposed to have their tails COMPLETELY surgically removed - not just docked. The breeder asked mom if she cared if I didn't get that done and mom said - not at all! She thinks I look WAY cuter with a tail :)

Sox and I already had docked tails when mom got us, but we have natural ears. I'm so happy they chose not to have my ears cropped...having my tail docked was painful enough!! Mom thinks that my floppy ears will make me look like a puppy even when I'm older...it just adds to my charm!

My tail is docked and my ears are clipped. Beleive it or not, I came from a litter of pure boxers so my tail was docked with the rest of them. I was just an accident I suppose, but my ears got done too. I think they make me look way cool.

I am o-natural. Dad wanted to get my ears clipped but Mom wouldn't let him. I'm glad, that sounds like it would hurt! Anyways Dad likes it on some Mom on none. She knows it is the standard in some breeds, but she figures if God gave it to you keep it. She likes her pups the way nature made them, floppy ears, long tail, and all!
