Guess what I did

Pearle on My Blog - Thu, August 02 2007

We're at grandma's...my uncle has a parakeet. I've always been curious about that bird although I've never done anything about it.... until today. I jumped from the table to the bird cage and knocked it over! The bird, Buddy (who is on here), is fine, but the cage is broken. No one was mad at me, but I think my uncle was a little shook up since he really loves his bird. Well, SO DO I! Needless to say, the bird is now upstairs in grandma and grandpa's room where I can't get to him. Can you blame me??! Oreo and Cookie have never done anything like this and they said "leave it to Pearle". I'm a little embarrassed, but my cat instincts got the best of me this morning. Grandma has to buy a new cage today and mom said that she's gonna pay for it. *sigh* I said that I was sorry.... No one's mad at me, but I kinda feel bad.

I know you're a kitten, but sometimes I wonder where your head is. We need to talk later.

I read the first line and thought this story was going to have a really bad ending for that poor bird! Good thing all you did was broke the cage!

So you didn't even get to taste the bird? That sucks.

I thought the same as Beverly! At least the birdie is ok, otherwise you'd have gotten in trouble!

No, Buddy never even got out of his cage....I would have been in BIG trouble if I'd have eaten him, huh?

Yeaterday Buddy got a new cage and Grandma and Uncle Brian don't think Buddy will like it... He's still up in the "penthouse" (gramm and grandpa's room). Why would Buddy care???????
