Sr. Chinese Cresteds Need Home

Nadji on Lost Pets - Thu, August 02 2007

I have been trying to adopt a 7 yr. old Crested from a rescue group. I was contacted by them yesterday & asked if I would consider 2 Cresteds whose owner died. They are 11 & 12 yrs. old and they do therapy work. I told her I would consider it. She said they are in a different rescue group in Illinois. I don't know anything about them yet but she thinks it's a male & female. I really don't want a male because of having a male Basenji. I also really want the 7 yr. old in Terre Haute. Is there anyone you might know of that would be interested? I won't let them be separated but I really want the little 7 yr. old.

I beg you, don't let me mom see this. She tells dad all the time that she would love to rescue older dogs and make them happy at the end of their lives. We already heard rumors that she was going to pick up another foster today. I wonder if she needs to go to DA-dogs anonymous? The males probably wouldn't be a problem. All our boys get along well together(except Chase and Hootie-they have a beef with each other). If you're not sure about getting them though you shouldn't. I'm sure they're in a good foster home and you might not be happy if that's not the dog you were looking for. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks, Pebbles. I really think your Mom should consider these two. They don't take up much space & that will keep them out of my house!
