Growing up!

Bella on My Blog - Wed, August 01 2007

Mom just bought me a new harness today, she says the old one was getting too small. I don't mind this one, except that it's red instead of pink. Hopefully people won't think I'm a boy. But some already do. Even with all the pink.

Mom and I went for real long and fast walks yesterday and today. She says she needs to exercise more, so that's why we had to go so fast. She still carried me when I got too tired. She even found her pedometer thing today, and said we walked 1.2 miles!! Well, she did anyways, I got carried part of the way. Lol.

My harness is red, too! Though, it does clash with my new teal/lime green/chocolate swirly gear that I got last month. Can you believe I still got mistaken for a boy at the vet this past weekend, with my collar and matching leash! Jeez Louise.

Oh, I get mistaken for a boy, even with a pink collar, harness, leash, and baggy-dispenser! These people must be blind not to realize what gorgeous girls we are!

I think some people just think of dogs as boys and cats as girls. I know someone who has a female dog and a male cat, and is always calling the cat she and the dog he!

Beverly, this is SO true! Even my daddy, jokingly, said "aren't all cats girls?" Silly.

Everyone thinks I am a boy too. I just don't understand. I have a pink rhinestone collar and harness, pink leash, pink tags, wear pink clothes and am as prissy as can be and they still ask my mom "what is HIS name, he is so cute". I AM A GIRL for pete's sake!
