Very weird, thought I would share.

Maybe some of you have already heard this story, but for those who have not, I thought it was interesting. Apparently there is a cat named Oscar who has now taken up a residence at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence, RI. That is not the strange part. It is said that Oscar strolls the hallways and visits patients in their final hours of life, inadvertently predicting their death. So far he has been 25/25. Kind of eery, but also a little heart-warming, simply because a lot of people die alone in nursing homes and now, in a small way, that all don't have to. It's an interesting read, here is the link. Thoughts, anyone?

Nadji's Mom here. I think it's wonderful that he is offering them some kind of comfort in their last hrs. & also it enables the home to call their family when they realize the person is close to dying.

Ya, mom saw that. Weird, huh? Kinda cool, though, like Nadji said.

Maybe this cat is more than just a "cat". I think it is a very sweet and heartwarming story. We may never know the reason but it seems he really "knows" when it is time and at least the staff has picked up on this and can give families more warning. That is one special kitty with a very special job.
