Pit bull owner ticketed after ma

A dog owner whose pit bulls are blamed for attacking a 61-year-old man last week faces a court hearing next month.

"Precious" is one of the pit bulls seized by animal control officers after a 61-year-old man was attacked. - Indianapolis Animal Care & Control

Indianapolis Animal Care and Control officers issued 12 citations to Marcus Johnson for allegedly failing to control his pets. Johnson will appear in Marion Superior Court on June 25, Animal Care and Control spokeswoman Media Wilson said this morning.

People need to do a better job of training their animals. That guy doesn't deserve to own a dog.

What's really sad about these incidents, is the poor animals suffer the consequences of the stupidity of the people who have them! I have a neighbor with a pitbull. The dog is never a problem! It goes back to how they are raised and treated! Some people just don't get it and some really don't need pets! These animals get the bad rep, because of the ignorance of pet owners!

Pit-bull type dogs are not for everyone, but they can be a wonderful and loving part of the family, like me! These incidents give the public a horrible, undeserved, nasty, impression of us. How sad it is for the poor man who was attacked. I hope he will be ok.
