Bed Hog

Abby on My Blog - Fri, July 27 2007

I had a horrible time sleeping last night.

I am dog sitting my boyfriend's 60-pound Boxer while he is out of town. And so Bosco would not feel lonely, I let him sleep with me.

Let me tell you ... it started out with 30 minutes of him not wanting to stop licking me.

Then, he would not lay down and then when he finally did, he literally took up my whole queen size bed, minus just enough room for me to lay flat on my back.

And to top things off, he must have been having some serious dreams because he was breathing hard and kicking his legs.

Yikes, it seems like Bosco carries the same bedside manner as my boyfriend. :)

I can't even remember what it feels like to have a whole bed to myself. LOL

HA HA! Laila and I both get in the bed sometimes and remind our mom and dad why we're not allowed to sleep there. I have really long legs and I like to stretch them out (usually right into someone's face.) Laila's favorite is to take a running start and leap directly onto someone's tummy when they're sleeping. They don't think it's fun, but we do.

I feel your pain. I've spent many a night pinned against the wall because Ernest has decided to stretch his Bassetness across the bed and I have a full size bed. I have found if I move around, he gets mad and goes to sleep in the recliner. And like right now, he's barking because he wants the lights off so he can go to sleep. Can we say spoiled rotten??
