I keep snuggling with her, but it's not helping. She just got off the phone with grandma, she said something about getting denied for a private student loan. I think it's because her grandma refused to cosign, so she tried all by herself. She's gonna have to apply for another one later after work. But if she doesn't get one by August 1st when bills are due for school, she doesn't know how she's gonna go. $3000 is a lot to come up with all at once. I hope she feels better soon, I'm gonna give her some kisses.

Keep giving her lots of kisses and snuggles. Mom gets upset every month when she has to write the check to pay back her student loans!

Has your mama applied for a Federal Stafford Loan? I thought those were available to anyone, no matter what their income level is. Have you spoken to the Financial Aid Office at your university? Have you filled out the FAFSA? Tell your mama to keep trying, okay?
