I got stuck!!!

Kirby on My Blog - Mon, July 23 2007

The other day mom was sitting on the deck and could hear me "honking" to get her attention. I wasn't in distress, so she wasn't worried. She couldn't find me for a while, THEN she busted out laughing. LAUGHING, I say! There was something down in the crawl space entrance that I needed to check out. I jumped in, no problem.... but getting out was! My legs are very short and I'm a little chubby. Check out the picture mom took before I was rescued. I don't see the humor in it at all... As it turns out, because of my humiliation I jumped out ON MY OWN after mom announced my predicament to the whole family to "see if you can find Kirby!" I got out in front of everyone. I showed THEM! Takes a lot of nerve.

Look how cute you are, just peeking over the top! You weren't really stuck if you jumped out on your own. Maybe you were just resting for a minute before jumping out. Yeah, that's it!! I have to confess Kirby, me and mom had to laugh at that picture. You're just too cute!!

I would stick with Sydney's suggestion that you were playing hide and seek Kirby.(its much less embarassing) Cute picture though...

Kirby, I feel your pain. My mom does the same sort of silly stuff when I'm in odd predicaments, too. She's just not as quick with the camera. You are extremely cute in that photo, though!

That picture was soooo cute..it made my mom laugh. I've gotten stuck in our vinyl fence a couple of times myself. Lucky for me the slats screw off. Also Mom didn't take my picture either. If you were down there interrogating those annoying vermin, did you find out anything? That's how I got stuck in the fence...tracking down squirrels.

Oh Kirby! You silly boy! Mom laughed at your picture, but not me. I never woulda been able to jump out of there. I actually woulda stayed down there a while, were there sticks or mulch? Or leaves?! If so, I'd been there for hours playing, then I'd take a nap, then play some more. Lol.

To tell you the truth...there was poop down there. Ernest T, oh how you know me! I ate it all.

Kirby, you look so cute in there. I hope you enjoyed all the poop you found. I myself am not a poop eater, I prefer those little maple tree seedling that come from the sky!

Kirby, this is brilliant. I must get one of those crawlspace things to hide poop in so the humans don't throw it away before I can eat it!

hehehehehe!!! Oops, I wasn't really laughing, mom just accidentally typed that. That picture was so cute. I am sure it is aweful to have such short legs. When the poo gets you into that kind of situation, it is time to cut back a bit ya know.

Oh Kirby! You made my mom laugh out loud!! And here I thought only curious cats got themselves into such predicaments! Your new photos are very handsome, though-- my mom says you are very photogenic!!! And so is Hoovie!

My mom also agrees with Oakley- perhaps it's time to get some therapy for the poo addiction. Thera-poo? There could be a 12-step (or 12-paw) program for you, Kir-B-Q

I don't have a poop addiction. I just had to see what kind it was....I'm still not sure. Yummy, though.
