I have been waiting a long time to have myself posted on IndyPaws. Since there is only room for 5 animals on mom's site, I had to go last. First that big lug, Ezra, who scared me to death, needed to advertise himself for adoption, then Boo, who somehow lost himself and wasn't even a member of our family, had to be found. The most important member of the house can finally be acknowledged! I am a very special kitty, as I have a kink or knot at the very end of my tail. When mom saw me at PSP there was a note attached to my cage from someone who had lived in Indonesia. This person said there were a lot of knotted tail cats there, and that they were considered a sign of good luck. True that. The Southside rescue people said that all of my kittens (I know I look too young to have had them) had knotted tails, too, so it must be genetic. My human sister, who has a degree in PreVet and thinks she knows something, said that it had to do with vertebrae that had not fused correctly. Whatever. I know I do NOT like to have it messed with. My mom will post a pic or two up close so you can see what it looks like. I'm happy to be here and hope you all will want to be my friend. Unlike my dogs who only want to be virtual friends, I like other animals a lot!

It was very nice of you to be so patient...not us. We expect to be acknowledged right away. I have never head of kink'd tail cats. I would imagine that would hurt, but maybe not if you are born with it. You are a beautiful cat!

Kinky- what a cheeky lil name; speaking as dog who lives with a gray colored feline like yourself who also has an issue with his tail (he doesn't like to talk about it)- I believe I can understand your woes. My animal brother Rowdy has a tail that bends in the middle and makes a perfect 'L'- he has quite an attitude if I touch it as well (or any part of him for that matter)- but just know that your special tail makes you a special girl!

Oh, and my brother cat wants to know if you're free on Friday- he's an 8 y/o medium haired gray beauty like yourself, front declawed,he's an Aries, enjoys long walks around the laundry room, and says he knows how to treat a lady!

Wow! I've never had anybody ask me out for a date before. Well, except for that guy I had kittens with, and he didn't stick around. We didn't exactly go on a date if you get my drift. And I don't know what my sign is, unless it is ADORABLE. xoxo Kinky

My mom saw some of your old friends from Southside at the Traders Point Petsmart. There were lots of nice kitties there. No one had cute kinky-tails though. I hope they all find homes soon.
