I have heard both good and bad. I have heard they are very strict which is good if that is what you need. My mom says that it would be good for me but not good for my sister because she needs very positive training. If you are looking for very positive training I know an excellent trainer. She is registered and has weims and does weim rescue. Seriously.. if she can help a weim, she can help anyone. My mom really likes her views on training. Want her number?
I love my place I go to for agility, rally and obedience. Momma takes Stru too! It's call Paws For Fun. www.pwsforfun.com It is a little far from us but mom says you can't beat them. Brenda (the owner) is wonderful and also does boxer rescue and whatever else needs her help.
i think they train in more of an "old style" of obedience training there, Kohler type methods, which does have it's purpose, but may not be for every dog. my advice would be for you to go there and observe a few classes before you decide. i have a friend who went there with two different dogs, but they were a dobe and rottie, and they weren't soft dogs, either.she had no complaints, but i do think they were more "military" in their style of training. not sure if they still are. i have always really liked INDY K9 KOLLEGE, in beech grove. i've taken numerous dogs there over the last 13 or 14 years. my favorite instructor for basic obedience is dawn, she works on tuesday nights. best of luck on wherever you do go!! :)
