Get a job?

Marty McFly on My Blog - Wed, July 18 2007

My mom was sick yesterday. I thought it would be great, except she figured out mine and Marvin's routines. He slept on her bed upstairs. I slept on one side of the couch per my daily routine, and mid-afternoon I get up, turn around three times, and move to the other side of the couch. Mom said I have a lazy life and I should get a job. I have no skills, no education, what would I do? I mean she lives for going to work to buy things for Marvin and I, right?

Can you throw a football? Hopefully, the Falcons will be looking for a new Quarterback!

Good one, Yogi! Vick runs more than he throws though, so I bet Marty sure could run that football!!

I think you ought to do security. Personally, I am the vermin monitor of the house. If there's a squirrel, chipmunk or lizard within my home perimeter, it's history. I do enlist help when the doorbell rings (even on TV, that's how thorough I am) with Emma and Peaches. I don't know how mom and dad could live without our help. I'm thinkin' you just had a slow day and your mom didn't see all the stuff you have to do normally.

My mom gives me the same grief about getting a job. I don't get it! The parents always seem to be excited or something when they run out of here in the mornings in a hurry. And then they come home and talk non-stop about their day. It seems like they like going out and working. Why else would they get so excited and talk non-stop after they come home about work? What else is there for them to do with all that cash that they make...except buy us treats?

Maybe you could be a couch cushion tester?
