Bev's mom here - I'm so glad to meet someone who feels the same way I do on this! That stuff just gives me the creeps!!

My mama will not eat in restaurants that have the "dead animal" theme.

Our Mom said that she looked at a house for sale once that had deer heads mounted in the great room and a bear head with the fur in a bedroom. It freaked her out. She doesn't even like to see the mounted fish. And she can't stand the fact that some humans insist on wearing real furs. Eckkkk !

Daisy, WARNING don't go to Alaska! There are stuffed animals everywhere! the mall, the airport, everywhere...my mommy taught she was in a horror movie!

My Dad is a deer hunter and although he follows all of the rules and some code of "ethics" (makes use of all the meat, tries to go for the older deer etc.), I never can get over him mounting the heads in his house. What's even worse are the gun racks made out of their legs. For me, I would feel guilty everyday I looked at that. I mean I know deer hunting helps prevent overpopulating and inbreeding but I just could not do it.

Oh Daphne, please don't get my mom started on wearing fur! I think she has a special soapbox just for that!! Mom doesn't like to argue so she tries not to offend anyone, but she does have her pet peeves!
