Hello Emma...nice to meet you. My name is Peytrah. My Mom was reading your comment about howling. There are different sounds that make my brother Snoopy howl. Mom thinks it might be because wolves and wild dogs howl to call out to their pack if seperated to let each other know where they are. Other packs howl back to alert a different pack of their presense. So there's a possibility that the siren could be mistaken by you making you think it's another dog out there howling. Now my brother Snoopy he howls when Mom plays different songs. Like Angel by Sarah Maclachlan and The Star Spangled Banner sung by LeAnn Rimes. Snoopy will howl through the whole song. Mom said she doesn't know if it's because of her bad singing, if it's because Snoopy is Patriotic or what. I don't know if this comment will help you out any or not but it's sure to put a smile on your face. I know Mom loves it when Snoopy gets going with the music. Now he also howls when he's put in the cage and Mom leaves the house. Mom thinks he's howling trying to call out to her because us dogs see our families as a pack and when seperated from the pack they will call out to each other by howling.

I don't howl. Butch howls at sirens though. Mom thinks it's funny. She says it's his opera voice and calls him Puparotti.

My brother Rocks actually "sings beautiful tunes". Our mom tells him to sing beautiful tunes Rocks, and he howls and howls. He thinks he is a Star. Here is a picture of him with his rocker wig on!

TOO FUNNY!!!...that might be a weim thing???...WE LOVE TO HOWL with sirens (even if they are on tv)....our owners think it is hilarious!!....sometimes when there are no sirens they just make the noise with their loud mouths & make us do it with them!!!...silly people! :)
