I know when our dog bit an intruder a few years ago, he was "quarentined" for 2 weeks. He wasn't even supposed to out in our fenced in back yard without being on a leash. We were allowed to keep him at home because the bite didn't cause much of an injury, but we were told that if the bite had broken the intruders skin, then he would have had to be quarentined with animal control.Do they not do that anymore? Okay, I guess even if they do, the owner seems totally irresponsible!
Seriously, MAYBE $100??!!!! That is just soooo wrong! When our dog bit an INTRUDER who was breaking into our house, we were fined $250 AND we had to pay the idiot's hospital bills. Our dog's bite didn't even break the man's skin and this guys dog did significant damage to that poor woman and he MIGHT get a $100 fine??? I'm not complaining about our fines, just saying that I really think there should be MUCH bigger fines for irresponsible owners!!!
I was telling Amy the same thing, SO many people I know could easliy pay that. Like, for some people, that be like a weeks worth of groceries, and good point Colton, $250? That's a lot for not breaking the skin. It's time to start the petition again! It's called equal treatment! They can't just take this git's word for saying "It was always such a good dog!" RIGHT! It's like the whole Paris Hilton thing (sorry for bringing it up!), nobody should be treated a certain way based on what the public thinks, and the persons history. *Ripping out hair* ...why can't i get it through their thick heads...
