Thanks for the advice, Iggy. My momma didn't know about Hibiscus flowers...but I sure like spinach, grapes, crickets, mealworms and the occasional strawberry. Peace, love and dragons...Gus

Hmmm...lets see. Get plenty of UVBs and UVAs, my papa recommends Zoo-Med Powersun (and so does my vet) but sunlight is even better! Only eat yummy crickets that are dusted with calcium powder and gut loaded (just get your human to ask the pet store if they gut-load). I wish that I could eat crickets again because they are so yummy, but they are bad for me now. Papa recommends Rep Cal as a cricket duster because my vet told papa that the company has done scientific testing on their supplements. Papa also told me that baby beardies can hurt themselves if they eat too much, so don't pig out on yummy crickets! Get your human to leave a bowl of water out for you (and the crickets), but if you don't like to drink from it, then try asking your human to squirt you with a sprayer very gently. Oh and I just love bath time and so will you! I drink and poop in there, it's lots of fun.

And if you need to go to the vet, then go to Doc Lennox at Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic in northern Indy (that's where Papa takes me).

Lie in the sun and have lots of fun friend!

You are so very pretty...and petite! That is so sad about your tail. My momma has been reading up on beardies because she wants me to be happy. And for DeeDee: your dad must love you very much too. Thanks for the great advice to everyone...peace, love, and dragons.
ps do we shed? Hope that's not too silly a question...but momma's noticed little pieces of shedding in my homeplace. She wasn't sure if I was ok.

Yummy crickets.... I like them as all of my food, but you should have chopped-up vegetables every other day too. That annoying human guy told me that the best greens don't have the word "lettuce" in the name. Also, my big green sister (Deedee) likes Kale a lot but that human guy says that it binds with calcium and should only be used as a treat. Oh yeah, and my big green sister likes moist whole-grain organic bread that is soaked in water and dusted with vitamins as treats too. Anyway, that human guy says that Collard greens are the best but Dandelion greens and Mustard greens are also good, and you should eat three different kinds with every meal. Personally, I think that the green stuff is yucky, though. Oh yeah, one more thing: that human guy likes to feed me wild bugs that he catches with a net, but I'm indigenous to this continent and you are from Australia, so you might get a parasite in your belly from wild bugs. Anyway, don't eat them: leaves more for me, hehe.
