It's a tough life...

but somebody's gotta do it!

Ok, here's an average day for me. I wake mom up to take me out first thing. Shouldn't she just know to get up and take me out? I start off every day doing all the work!

After that, she insists on EATING! And she'll take me outside and put me in my little pen while she sits and eats, and watches me. Where's MY food??

After she eats, we go back inside, and she changes out of her pajamas while I FINALLY get to eat! And then she logs onto IndyPaws to check on the posts. I keep myself occupied for a few minutes by playing with my toys. Then I tell her I need to go out to potty, and we go for our morning walk. And she always says she has other stuff to do, so she won't even let me stop and play with everything! And then she complains about having to carry a baggie of my poo around, because I have to wait until AFTER we pass the dumpster to go. Maybe if we went a different route once in a while, we'd find another dumpster quicker!

After we get back from our walk, she makes me go to BED! Something about taking a shower... But I have to go back to bed!

The rest of the day depends on if she has to work or not. Today she did. So when she got back she took me out to potty real quick, then we went back in so she could get all ready to leave me. I like to lay down at her feet while she does her hair and everything, but she walks around so much, I have to keep MOVING! That is not at all conducive to napping.

Once she's ready to go, she puts all my toys into my bed, after I worked so hard to take them all out! Then she gives me some food for the day, and locks me in! I at least convinced her to give me a biscuit before she goes! Then I have to spend the next several hours in bed! With all my toys! In the air conditioning! GEESH!

Finally she comes back, and immediately takes me outside. But now that I'm getting bigger, I don't always have to go right away. So I sit in my outside pen for a few minutes and have a drink of water. I really really like to drink my water outside, even if I just drank my whole entire bowl inside, I still have to have some.

Then there's something about how she has to eat AGAIN! And we do the whole outside stuff like for breakfast. And people drive by on their golf carts, but they don't stop and pet me! It's just not fair!!

Once mom is done eating, we go on our long walk. Again she doesn't let me stop and play with everything I want, and she especially doesn't let me eat stuff I find. People drop all sorts of stuff that I try to eat. Sometimes I get to stop and play with my brothers and sisters, and even some people. But there's this really nice lady down the road, who's only here on the weekends. That's not fair. I always look for her. She just LOVES me!

After we get back and have a drink and everything, I get to play with my toys some more, and eventually she gets back on IndyPaws, and I lay in my spot, overlooking the computer screen, to make sure she doesn't say anything bad. Then I have to sleep in my crate. Poo.

Our schedule is different on days mom doesn't have to work. Those days are the best, we get to play more, and we sometimes go to the pet stores, or go visit dad. And one day a week mom has to work extra long, and then I go to grandma's house, and play with my sister, and uncle max and uncle loki, and my doggie-mom Sif!

It's just so hard to be me. Can you believe there are people that don't stop to pet me?!?! It's true! I just don't get it either!

I bet those people who don't stop to pet you are too shy! I know they want to though. Who would not want to pet you? Mom says she could just grab you up and squeeze you, you're so cute!
