Mom's watching a documentary on Hogzilla (yeah, she has a life!) and they just said Pigs are the smartest of all domesticated animals!? WHAT? If they're the Ivy League brainiacs of the animal kingdom, why is it such a bad thing to be called a PIG?

My mom has read and heard a number of times that pigs are smarter than dogs! I told her that's just nonsense!

I, for one, can not believe such nonsense. Doesn't EVERYBODY know that dogs ares the smartest animals in the world?? What other animal else can read and type blogs on computers, I bet pigs can't!!! (Well I guess there are lots of animals on this site, but no pigs??)

If pigs are really so smart, how come they end up as bacon, pork chops and such? Not very smart if you can't stay off the dinner table as the main course. No offense to all those pigs out there. Just a thought.
