Dogs, or pets are really true friends. They show their love in many different ways, just like we show them love. One example that showed me my dog's love was a few years ago when I was on a camping trip with my family. It was around the 4th of July and we were going to watch the fireworks at Raccoon Lake from our boat. Unfortunately the show was canceled due to bad rain. It was scary being on the lake during that big storm, dangerous too. Well, we finally got back to our campsite, surprised our stuff was still there. When we were trying to sleep, we heard Sparky yelp and it seemed like our tent was caving in, so my Dad went outside to get Sparky. It turned out that the thing leaning on our tent was one of those instant canopies that you set up. When my dad let Sparky in our tent, the firt thing he did was jump on my air mattress and lay right beside me, he slept there the whole night. When I woke up the next morning, he was still right beside me. Ever since then, he's been the best dog!!
