I'm in Tuh-Rubble!!!

Truman on Behavior - Wed, June 27 2007

So this morning my dad and Raffy and I were goin for a walk and before we left the yard, I managed to wiggle out of my collar and went for a run all by myself.

My dad chased after me for three blocks - picture it - him running down the street screaming "Truman! STOP!" while holding a little chihuahua. It was hilarious and my dad's friends are still laughing. He is maaad at me for running near the busy street though and said that's how 3-legged labs become 2-legged labs. Heh heh heh!

Bailey and I use to be able to do that - but then mom bought these no-slip collars at the pet store that are impossible to squirm out of. I miss the old days when I could run free...wait, maybe that was a dream.

I did that once and was headed to the road but on our walks we take a detour to the barn so that's where I went. Man, Mama was ticked. Next day, doggie harness. We have not had that problem again. Glad your okay. I'm sure your Dad will forgive you soon. I find the sad face often works. ETB
