The dog friendly websites are really helpful. Almost all Mariott's are pet friendly. and the Omni here downtown is where I stayed with my Boxer for 6 months when I relocated to Indy. Hope you have a blast make sure you post pictures of your trip.

all Motel 6 locations are pet-friendly, so pick a town with a Motel 6. they are cheap, too! We stayed at one in Chattanooga, Tenn., when we were moving and there were lots of pets. That might be too far of a quick trip, but they have cool parks at the top of Lookout Mountain nearby.
