So sick of this bad talk about pits

Sr. Gunner First Class on Breeds - Wed, June 27 2007

I'm also on indymoms.com
And I's so sick about one of the post's. This is the name of the post (When Will They Outlaw Pitbulls in this city??? )
There are so many ppl that are bad talking the pits. And this post on there realy got me mad. (((I called the police the other day because some idiot teenagers had a female Pit that looked like it had pups recently run around loose at the Southside park. They aked if it was grouling or barking at anyone, I told them but that the park was full of kids, mainly toddlers. They said there was nothing they could do. It was sunday too, so I couldn't call ACC or the parks dept.)))
There are some others on there that are just as bad. This just makes me sick

I am with you there, I am also on Indy Mom's not cause I am a mom yet but specifically to argue to those uneducated people out there about this very topic. I am over it. It will not affect me directly but the mayor is stupid if he thinks it's going to fix the problem.

I'm tired of it as well. My furkid has been in my life for almost 10 years and she is sweet, gentle, and friendly. I am always educating people about the positive side of this breed.

Can we just tell the indymoms folks to check out the educational information we post here? It's so disappointing to see rumors marauding as fact, and people getting paranoid.

A lot of bad things said and printed about pits being sooo bad are the result of irresponsible ownership...if you ask me. Some people think it's 'cool' to own a pit, but have no clue how to raise, or even train them. I blame bad humans for most of the problems with pits. No offense to all you humans. :)
