Yay! Buddy has a home!!

Bella on My Blog - Sun, June 24 2007

Well mom found Buddy a new home today! He gets to live with a whole family now, and has two kids to run around and play with! They saw my sisters for sale a couple days ago, but really wanted a male (the husband did). They came by again today and mom told them about Buddy.

They were interested right away! And there's a funny part too. They had seen the litter last year, and had wanted the male from that litter, but he was spoken for almost as soon as he was born. Turns out, Buddy was that male! So in the end, they got the puppy they originally wanted!

He's going to be real happy now. Since his new family has a lot here at Jellystone, I'll get to see him occasionally, and he gets to ride in a golf cart! Good thing he's a Corgi, and he won't be too big to ride with the family!

Oh boy, Bella, that's great news! Make sure his new family knows that corgis like to herd & nip sometimes, because that's what they do naturally. Sometimes the herding instinct isn't as strong in some corgis as it is in others, but they need to know about it so they can enjoy their new corgi! I'll bet you told them that, though- I'm just rambling (you know how corgis love to talk!!)....Say hi to your sisters for me! Love, Charlie

Yep, Mom just kept talking and talking to them! She mentioned everything she could think of, including herding and nipping! They said they used to have a dog that was also a herding breed (I forget what exactly though) so they know all about that! She made sure to tell them not to give him any corn, although the food he has now does have some corn in it, she told them they'd want to wean him off of it, because it might be giving him some gas! They seemed real excited to get a Corgi, and we know they'll take good care of him!!

Oh! Another thing!! One of my sisters just went to a new home too! She's gonna be so happy! And me and mom walk by her new dad's lot almost everyday, so we'll get to visit her often!!
