cats that lick all the time!

does anyone else's cat do this??? stuart drives us INSANE!!! when he was a kitten, he licked us alll the time. vet said maybe he would grow out of it. seven years later...nope, he still does it!! it's almost like an OCD!!!! he will literally stand on stuff, reach out with his paws to lean over on me, and lick me!! i usually have to lock him out of my office, because i cannot get anything done in here, as he's licking my feet, legs, or standing on the arm of my chair, licking my arm!! i love this cat, but it drives me crazy, and, DANG it hurts after a while, LOL!!! there have been times when he's made me break out in bumps where he licked my arm, LOL! does anyone else's cats do this? he's a strange cat!!!

Reyna does this also. But she usually does this when she wants arttention or wants you to pet her. She will also nip at you if she wants more petting. But sometimes she will just lick me out of nowhere. It is kinda annoying.I just tell her to stop or no and move that body part from her. She usually stops...for the moment.LOL

I do! Ever since I was a kitten. Licklicklickandmorelicks. After a bit I sometimes even suck on the area where I've been licking. I lick even more when scared/nervous about something. Vet seems to think I was weaned too early.

Huh - my human's taste bad. I tried it once. Maybe you should put some nasty tasting stuff on before your kitty tried to lick you again...perfume? Tobasco?
