Johan, we're all glad that you're back in business. I'm really glad you got rid of the diaper. While I understand the necessity of it, it was kind of humiliating.
About our new roommates...well, we've only seen Ella once. Stanley is still hiding under the couch in Melissa's room. Penny and I like to sit at the top of the basement stairs and whine for Ella and Stanley, but that doesn't seem to encourage them to come up. Last night, Ella peeked around the corner of the door and we told her that we really wanted her to come and play, but our enthusiasm freaked her out.
*sigh* maybe someday she'll get brave and come upstairs again. Mom says it just takes time and patience.
Well Johan, I have threatened to run away and consulted with Sir Denny Crane about a way to evict Smokie but to no avail. Really, he is OK - at least I have someone to play with and sleep with now, we both sleep in mom and dads bed every nite. Smokie is very social and all the other cats are taking to him pretty well, no more hissing going on. It has only been a week and it seems like he has always been here.
Hey, glad to hear you got your diaper off and are almost back to normal! How much long do you gotta where the lamp shade?? If you promised not to LICK, it might come off a little faster!
Hope you are on line tomorrow coz we are having a meeting of the Crazy Kitten Club with Elliot, Elton, Deigo, me and you.
Hey, Johann! Glad you're back in commission. My old K-9 brother had to wear one of those lampshades for like a year - the human neighbor said he looked like a lawn vacuum! He made the best of it, though, and took every opportunity to bump everyone in the house with it and then wag his tail. We used to say we'd been coned. I think if you make a game out of it you'll find it somewhat entertaining.
We've missed seeing you around - glad you're back!!
