This day is for the pits

Seth on Grief - Mon, October 13 2008

Today the maintenance staff in our neighborhood is painting everyone's front doors. So, since they will have to continuously open and close our door, Mom has locked me up in her bedroom. But that's not the bad part. The BAD part is that she put me in here with Andy and Nicholas! Luckily she put my food on her dresser where they can't reach it. But everytime I make a litter box run, one of them follows me to see what I am doing. Seriously, can a guy get some privacy? And what's up with them being such bed hogs? I was really looking forward to getting a good loooong nap in Mom's bed today, but the stinky dogs are taking up the whole area, so I have been downgraded to sleeping in Andy's dog bed. This happens EVERYTIME the three of us have to be confined. I'm suprised I tolerate this family at times...Mom will be home soon. Pray for my sanity everyone!!!

Poor Seth. I hope momma is home soon and you still have your wits about you. She will have to be extra loving to you tonight.

I remember being banned to the closet when we had our windows replaced... at least mama put my litterbox in with me. The closet is big so I had lots of room to play and lots of clothes to shed on.

Were you in the dark or did your mom give you a flashlight? Did you play "shadow people/cat?

Poor Seth. Even though I don't have any brothers or sisters, I'm sure you have the advantage. You can climb and you have claws. Good advantages. I hope your mom will give you a good petting and some temptation treats to make it up to you. Take care, Seth and be sure to put those dogs in their place!
