Basset needs home

In other words, they don't want to mess with her any more, even though they "love her very, very much". *rolling eyes*

I don't know of any dogs that AREN'T "high maintenance." I'd feel snappy and snarky when threatened or if there was food around, too...

um...hello. I think I MORE than qualify for high maintenance. Mom said she has more dog meds than human ones.

Everyone on Craistlist "loves their dogs very much and thinks of them as their babies". I hope these same people aren't having real kids otherwise the kiddie shelters are going to be overflowing with their children. The other thing they all say is that you must be serious and committ to keeping them forever. Uh, you didn't. Just craziness. I just thought maybe someone on here needed a sweet girl like her☺

So I might be a dummy, but

"I would prefer to see Vet records when possible"...if there's not supposed to be other dogs, how are they supposed to have vet records? Do you really want to see records from a dog that someone previously had but doesn't now, and would really like yours???

I guess they're in such a hurry to get rid of her that they didn't really think that through before posting.

Poor thing. Has anyone recommend Guardian Angel Basset Rescue to the family? Miles came from there, and they are a great organization. I'd take her if my living situation were different, but I hope she gets into a home where she's not dispensable.
