Lynn on Activities - Wed, September 17 2008

Is anyone going to Irish Fest this weekend? Don't know that I'm really all that Irish but it's always good fun. Hope to see some of you there. Here's the links for more information.

I would love to go!! I have some Irish in my blood, but it's the music that really gets me. Somewhere in another life, I think I must have been an Irish floozie. :) xoxo D

a Woman after my own heart! I love to listen to all the bands too. One of my all time favorite "fall" activities is going to Irish fest enjoying a pint w/ a bowl a Guiness Stew while watching Brigid's Cross.

I don't know what nationality of floozie I was, but I'm sure I was some kind of floozie.

Zilla, I'm right there with ya being left at home. If Mom cares for those nice new boots of hers she had better bring something tasty home for me.

I plan on going to Irish Fest, but not sure which day. I am Irish, so it's mandatory. I like to get a corned beef sandwich and a shot of Baileys and listen to the bands, then maybe another shot of Baileys. Oops, that would mean that I'll need a designated driver!!! My "guy friend" doesn't drink or gamble........boring!!!!!!! I need me a good ole Irish guy!!!!

Oh, and in a past life, I'm sure I ran a bordello, in Ireland, of course.

Are dogs welcome at Irish Fest? I'm pretty sure that I've got some terrier in my family somewhere. Doesn't that make me Irish, too?

According to their website, food, beverages, tents, coolers, and pets are to be left at home. Last year, I did see a couple of dogs on leashes, so possibly this is a new thing? Of course, the Irish Wolfhounds and Irish Setters will be there.....in their booth space, that is.

I LOVE the Irish fest. Not much Irish in my family, but LOTS of Scots, Welsh, & English. I don't think we'll get there this year. Have to paint on the house.

I like the market!! As a lover of all things Celtic, I will have to stay away from there. lol
