we have a winner!!!

A while back, I posted about my food questions. I have researched various brands, purchased various brands, and Chach has snubbed his nose at all of them and only eaten out of hunger and spite, not enjoyment. But I think we may have found the food for him. He really liked the Innova EVO red meat small bites, but it made his belly turn red and itchy. So, I decided to try Wellness CORE oceanfish. Umm...yea...he hated it, and the others weren't too fond of it either (except the baby Raya) and it made their eye goobies a weird consistency. So, PSP had trial sizes of Merrick foods (I don't know why the other companies don't think of that-would have saved me lots of money) and I picked up the Wilderness Dinner and Granny's Pot Pie. I had to convince Chach that the Wilderness dinner was edible, but when I opened the bag of Granny's Pot Pie and handed him a piece, he immediately ate it! So I thought it might be a fluke and I handed him more...and he ate it. So I decided to mix some in with the other food, and he went through and picked it out! I'm so excited that I found something that I won't have to twist his paw to eat. We'll see how it goes! Just wanted to share since so many of you shared your opinions and stories with me! Thank you! Oh yea...my avatar is the new baby Raya. Thought she was a boxer/shepherd, but I found a Catahoula/Boxer mix on Petfinder, and it looks just like her! She is definitely unique looking!

That is great food for the dogs. Congrats on finding something that is good for them and that they like.
