Possible stray?

I thought I would mention that I saw a female pitbull mix near 65th and Evanston yesterday that I tried to approach and she ran away. She was white with a few black spots and it looks like she might have recently had pups :(

Sadly, I am probably writing this post in vain because chances are the poor girl has no home. And to think that she has puppies makes me even more sad because who knows if they are able to survive outside and who knows how long it will be until they all get picked up my IACC?

Having a spay/neuter law is so important, and if I could have gotten ahold of her, I would have tried my best to find her owner and if I couldn't, I definitely would have arranged to have her spade. I would have gladly paid the $30 at FACE to ensure that no more unwanted puppies are born. It saddens me to no end. I am the kind of person that if I see a stray wandering around on my way to work, I can't get it out of my mind all day, kind of like now.

UGH, it all makes me so MAD.
