What attracts Boomer...

it is an odd behavior of kitties. Squity, my old kitty, was known for Sunday morning newspapers. If you read on the floor, she was rolling all over the paper. You knew she was going to do it but it became our fun game... Sunday paper - Squirty.

Our wonderful cat, Rusty Allan, always laid on the paper when my husband tried to read it. There were times when I had to play with Rusty in order for my husband to read the paper. I guess it's a cat thing.

Oreo does this when I do Bible study. He's either on my Bible itself (he's very spiritual) or on my workbook! He gets all comfy and I don't want to move him. I know exactly what you mean....

My boyfriend, Benson does that too. He's a dog though, a rottie/hound mix. If you're reading the paper or whatever, he'll sneak up on you then pounce his 50 lb. butt right on the paper, ripping it in half. Then he chews up the paper. I love him! :)

Oh, we all do that when Mom's trying to read the newspaper. She really, really loves it....

Eddie does this, and when I'm typing a paper. So, I have to take a chair and sit it right next to me so that he can put his head in my lap and I can read/type as well. Sometimes, you just REALLY need to get the paper done!

All 3 of our cats LOVE to lay on paper. It drives me nuts because we leave the mail on the bar and so I am forever yelling at a cat to "get down".

My sister's cat likes to help her play Mahjong on the computer. She likes the noises.
Maybe the only time you're sitting still is when you're reading and that's what attract Boomer.

Regina loved to sneak up on the Sunday ads. I'd go to bed Sunday night the paper stacked neatly on the coffee table only to wake up to bits of the ads everywhere Monday morning. The memory of her doing that still makes me laugh. Jordan has a wrapping paper radar. It doesn't matter how quietly you try to wrap a package he's right there trying to protect us from the evil paper monster.
