We corgis are few and far between, it seems... How ya doing, dude?

Kirbs, dude, it does appear that we Corgis are special and stuff. I'm doin' pretty well here in Maryland. My mom still complains about how much everything costs, but I guess I've gotten used to it by now. As long as I have a full belly, bones and plenty of treats, I'm happy. How's the MMD holding up?

We're taking over the world!! There are lots of Bassets lately, couldn't tell you why. Until IVEC, I was sure I was the only Basset on the planet and then I met Linus, Lucy and 2 or 3 more. Crazy stuff.

But really, all of us low-riders need to stick together! We should look into forming a treat posse or something like that---we need to look out for each other & provide assistance in treat-snatching reconnaissance missions...

There are some new corgi girls on the site, one of them is even a CARDI!! We've been kind of low profile down here in Greenwood, since Mom's got us so busy with school and rally trials. Speaking of low riders, Mom saw her first doxie in a rally trial on Sunday. She said this one was definitely not of the BFFs, since it was equipped more like an MMD!

We Bassets are on the upswing!Humans now know just how precious we are!!!! My mom has had a Basset since she was two years old. Now I am the third!!

Uh, right. Beagles rule and I rule beagles. That is the alpha and omega of it, on this 20th day of September of 2008 anno domini, now and forever (or until the Cubs let Steve Bartman throw out the first pitch in the World Series). Deal with it, you guys are only cool by your resemblance to beagles.
