I am obessed with those things!! Every time we come to a lump on the sidewalk, I have to check to see if it's a cicada. I haven't gotten up the nerve to eat one yet, they latch onto my lips and I freak out. One wouldn't let go and I kept shaking my head to get it off!
Now poop, I will eat. It doesn't bite back...
I was not happy when Batman brought in the hindleg of a rabbit last week. This is his second rabbit. But, at least it wasn't making noise.
At the feral cat care day this past Sunday, I cleaned out a cat's ears that were so gross I really did gag. I've seen some nasty ears, but these were awful and they smelled bad. But, I stuck with it and half an hour later, this kitty had really clean looking ears. I'll bet when he woke up he said , "Hey, I can hear.!"
Oh...my. Please Lord, don't let that happen to me! It's still primarily on arms/legs and face. But I am feeling better today. The meds are helping....
:-)
I've got a good one for you... last night I watched my cat eat a cricket. You know how cats eat... they pick up a morsel and chew it and pieces fall to the ground and they chew it some more. So she picks up the cricket and chews it and a leg falls out of her mouth, then the head. I'm just watching the cat do this and hearing the crunch, like you, and I can't decide whether to laugh of puke. Then I had to go sweep up what the little princess didn't eat.
(By the way, Dolly's had three thorough toothbrushings in 6 weeks because of the gross things she eats...)
